Our Quality

Unlike many small printers, we've stuck with lithography for all of our printing rather than turning to the increasingly common digital print route to merely save on cost at the loss of quality.

From one to six colours, we print everything in house on our two B3 lithographic printing presses, giving us full control over quality, colour and a very wide range of stocks that we can print on - while at the same time allowing us to produce short to medium run high quality print at affordable prices.

Lithography gives the highest possible print quality - providing razor-sharp text and line art, with amazing detail in photos and graphics.  And with our eye for detail, coupled with the additional spot colours we can print, it provides the best colour reproduction and finish too.

To compliment our high quality printing, we have a full range of equipment to provide high quality finishing for your work such as: creasing, folding, perforating, sealing/varnishing, professional laminating (using ultra thin gloss, matt or soft-touch velvet film), round cornering (in various sizes/combinations and even the option of diagonally cutting corners too), numbering, stitching, drilling, collating and bookletmaking (stitch/fold/trim inline), spot uv coating, die-cutting, kiss-cutting, embossing/debossing, foil blocking, perfect binding, applying silver latex (scratch off), reseal glueing, wire-binding, spiral binding and of course hand finishing.

Attention to detail

We pay close attention to detail - starting from the quote right through to the finishing stages and final packing of your job.

We prefer to discuss your jobs with you, so that we can get a firm understanding of what you're trying to achieve.  This might seem like overkill on something as simple as a business card for example - but we know that there are no routine jobs for your clients, they're all important, so we pay the same attention to the smallest or largest jobs.

We can advise you on all aspects of print, from paper stocks and finishes to which colour mixes (CMYK or Pantones) will work best and what finishing would be best - just give us a call, we're always happy to help.

All artwork is carefully checked and where necessary minor corrections are made (free of charge) to ensure it will print well, we refer back to previous prints of the same job - which we keep on file - to ensure we can match colours as closely as possible time after time.  We also store press data and artwork files relating to your jobs, so that we can refer back to it if a re-print is required in the future.

And the hard work doesn't stop at the pre-press stage, we continue to pay close attention to your job while printing, pulling sheets every 100 or so impressions to check for potential problems, colour variance and so on - and once at the finishing stage, we carefully setup and monitor all jobs during the finishing process too.

In short, we never consider any job as 'run of the mill' - all receive care and attention at all points of the production process, because that's the best way to ensure you receive a quality job time after time.

However, if something does go wrong, you can relax in the knowledge that you're dealing with a reputable printing company with a simple Guarantee: If there is a problem with anything we print, and it's our fault, we'll correct the problem and reprint the work free of charge as quickly as possible.  And if the fault is not of our making, we'll work with you to minimise the cost of correcting the problem.  You can't say fairer than that.
